Antelope Real Estate

Antelope, a planned community of single-family homes and apartments, emerged during the late 1980s. Located on the northeastern border of Sacramento County (southwest of Roseville), this desirable 7,000-acre community is conveniently situated near freeways, shopping, neighborhood parks and the Sacramento International Airport. Because the development is relatively new, homes in the area are energy-efficient with well-planned neighborhoods to supplement.

This charmingly small community of modern homes and friendly neighbors has grown in popularity over the years for real estate investors. Because it’s only a few minutes’ drive away from Downtown Sacramento, shopping, dining and entertainment are never out of reach. Antelope history brings an interesting and humble perspective on the city. Yet, it’s still distant enough to give it a sense of utmost privacy and serenity. Go out and about town, have an exquisite dinner or go bar hopping. Once you’re done, you can be assured to go home at a place of utmost peace and tranquility, with your very own private, secluded hideaway.

Recreational activities are abundant in Antelope. The neighborhood is primarily serviced by the Sunrise Recreation and Park District, which operates five parks in Antelope, namely Antelope Community Park, Blue Oak Park, Lone Oak Park, Pokelma Park, and Tetotem Park. However, these five parks aren’t the only place to go and have a good time. Other parks in the area include Northbrook Park, Capehart Youth Center, Sierra Creek Park, and Brock Park. Jogging, walking, biking, and picnicking are just some of the activities Antelopians (that’s what the residents of Antelope call themselves) enjoy.

Shopping is a choice between the Arden Fair Mall or the Galleria at Roseville. Arden has over 165 specialty stores and a Nordstrom department store allowing visitors to shop till their hearts content. There is also a Wal-Mart and a Target for your daily grocery needs. At Antelope, you’ll never run out of things to do.
